FYI, the  Montauk Nest Chair on the bottom right is on sale now at West Elm!

SPRING IS IN THE AIR

If you are in Atlanta this weekend, you should definitely stop by The Dogwood Festival at Piedmont Park. It's a great way to welcome Spring and get some fresh air- enjoy the Farmer's Market, check out some local art and live music!

Here are some pretty little Spring things to pump you up for the weekend!
1. Watercolor Peony Wallpaper from Anthropologie
2. Domaine Triennes- this light Rose is perfect for Spring weekends outside and you can find it at most wine shops for $14 - $16.
3. This sweet bowl is made by Artist Jeff Campana. His work is on the pricy side for me but it is so precious and Spring-y.
4. These Herb Garden Labels by Paulova come in a pack of 4 for $32.00, pick and choose your herbs and the color of the glaze.
5. This Reclaimed Row Home Birdhouse is one of 5 for sale from Anthropologie.
6. These beautiful Spring nail polish colors from Chanel look like Spring flowers blooming!
7. Seed Bombs are small clay and soil balls full of regional Wildflower Seeds. To do some "Gorilla Gardening" this Spring, throw a bomb in a vacant lot, or nearby field! Get 2 bags for $14 at Uncommon Goods.
8. Felix Doolittle is a printing company from Massachusetts that makes note cards, stationary, labels and custom gifts. They are a great go-to for Birthdays and Mother's Day, and  their newest watercolor designs are spring and summer inspired.

COME ON BABY LITE MY FIRE!

I am definitely enjoying this crisp fall season; pumpkin spice lattes, NFL, falling leaves, boots and sweaters. If I could update my existing fire-pit for the cold season ahead, I might be tempted to base the setting around this Stephen Kenn set. It's military inspired, featuring Swiss mule belts as supports and cushions upholstered in canvas from half shelters (military tent). I picture myself bundled up by the fire, listening to Bon Iver and snacking on some bacon bourbon popcorn.

THANKSGIVING AT WEST ELM

I stumbled across this adorable Thanksgiving collection at West Elm over the weekend and I had to share. I know we just entered November and it's a little early to be filling your heads with Thanksgiving but I just can't help myself. I love the graphic quality and simple gold and white color palette.

BABY ITS COLD OUTSIDE

Some one please, wrap me up in All Saints Fall 2011 clothing line! I thought I would never love anything as much as there recent spring/summer line but I must say this takes the cake. I admire everything they have to offer this season, from the deep metallic color palette to the brilliant mix of texture and sheen. I am also really excited about the Southwest trend that is happening right now, you can see it in this glittery little skirt below.

Fur with cable knit with sequins...yes please!

All Saints Fall 2011 Collection

I can see this clothing line translating into interior design flawlessly. Fashion is a great place to pull inspiration from for interiors, especially for color and texture. This summer I turned a clients screened in sunroom into a den and we worked off a very neutral grey and khaki color palette with pops of orange in the accessories and pillows. This is a great place to add trendy elements because it's less permanent and somewhat affordable to switch out with the passing seasons and trends. An easy way for us to "winterize" the room would be to store the cheery orange accessories and pull some inspiration from this All Saints line. We can add some deep metallic accessories, exotic metal and wood elements, fur blankets and a cable-knit pillows.
