Ikea has a bad rap for selling low quality products. I think this is much deserved for some of their products; scratchy bedding, thin wood veneer, flimsy frames and mirrors and uncomfortable upholstery items. BUT, ikea also rocks in other departments and the prices absolutely can't be beat. Here are a few items I've noticed recently that really stand out and could be mistaken for something 5x the price.
This throw blanket is very on trend right now. It's a new item at ikea and would fit right in with all the black and white schemed room we are seeing in magazines and blogs today. And hello, under $20 bucks!

This floor lamp looks like it could be found at Design Within Reach, check it out compaired to the AJ Floor Lamp.
I love this decorative bowl! So many of ikea's products loose their appeal to me because they feel light and wobbly but his bowl is heavy and it feels expensive.
$29.99
This ikea stockholm rug is currently sitting under my cocktail table, it's handmade and 100% wool. The construction has held up really well, which is always the risk that runs with buying ikea. This rug costs $299.00 and could easily pass for the Jonathan Adler rug below that runs for $995.00
